"The Oreshnik Alliance": Investigation Reveals $10 Billion in Chinese Tech Powering Russia’s Hypersonic Threat to Europe

A groundbreaking investigation by the UK Daily Telegraph has exposed China’s pivotal role in accelerating Russia’s production of advanced ballistic and hypersonic missiles, most notably the "Oreshnik" system. According to the report, Beijing has supplied Moscow with $10.3 billion worth of specialized manufacturing tools and dual-use technology, enabling the Kremlin to bypass Western sanctions and expand its arsenal of weapons capable of reaching European capitals in minutes.

The data highlights the presence of advanced Chinese-made CNC rotary lathes at the Votkinsk plant—the heart of Russia’s missile industry. Additionally, China has exported $4.9 billion in microchips and memory modules essential for precision-guided weapons. Analysts argue that without China’s "backfilling" of the industrial gap left by the West, Russia would have struggled to sustain the production of high-speed missiles like the Oreshnik, which recently struck Lviv, just 40 miles from the Polish border.
