Parallel to preparations for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the U.S., President Donald Trump is reportedly pushing for a tripartite summit including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. A senior Israeli official told Channel 13 that Israel agrees to the meeting, which will focus on the next phase of the Gaza deal and the Iranian file.

1. Key Strategic Discussions
The "Next Step" in Gaza: The summit aims to finalize the transition to the second phase of Trump's Gaza plan.
The Iranian Threat: Coordinating regional responses to Tehran’s recent developments.
2. Operational Scenarios for Gaza
The Israeli security establishment will present two scenarios to Netanyahu on Thursday:
Scenario A: Continuing with the Trump plan, which involves fully reopening the Rafah crossing, introducing international rebuilding efforts, and moving toward long-term reconstruction.
Scenario B: Resuming military operations if the government lacks confidence in a "multinational force" tasked with disarming Hamas.
3. The Global Peace Council
Trump recently highlighted the creation of a "Global Peace Council" to manage Gaza post-war. He described it as a "legendary" council featuring top global leaders and experts, with members to be officially announced in early 2026.
