Trump Praises Musk After Months of Feud: 'I’ll Always Love Him'

US President Donald Trump praised tech billionaire Elon Musk, confirming their friendly relationship despite a rift that emerged months ago.

Trump's Statement: Trump told reporters during his trip to Asia: "I love Elon, and I think I’ll always love him."
The Feud Period: Musk was close to Trump during the first months of his term, having donated over $250 million to his election campaign last year and taking on the task of rapidly cutting government spending. However, a disagreement arose in early summer over a major budget bill pushed by Trump. The two quickly began exchanging attacks on social media before Musk withdrew from his political role.
Trump's Description of the Feud: Trump described that period as a bad phase in the billionaire's life, saying: "It was a dumb moment in his life, very dumb... and I’m confident he’ll tell you that himself."

Limited Communication: Trump mentioned he met Musk in September during the memorial service for slain right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. Since that ceremony, communication between them has been sporadic, which Trump described as "not much."
Musk's Political Activity: Following his withdrawal, Musk announced in July the formation of his own political party, but no further news was reported. Since then, Musk's political activity has been limited to expressing right-wing views on his X platform.
