According to media reports, a plan for the post-war future of Gaza is being circulated within the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump. This plan proposes placing the Gaza Strip under a "U.S. guardianship" for a period of at least 10 years. This news comes as the Israeli military continues its air and ground bombardment of Gaza City, destroying homes and forcing more families to flee.

The "Washington Post" reported that a draft of the plan, inspired by Trump's pledge to seize the strip, calls for the relocation of all Gaza residents. This would be achieved either through "voluntary departure" to another country or to "restricted and safe" areas within the Strip during the reconstruction period. In terms of on-the-ground developments, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported that the Israeli military has detonated over 80 booby-trapped robots in civilian residential neighborhoods over the past three weeks.
Israel Confirms the Death of «Abu Obeida» as Bombing of Gaza Continues
In an additional confirmation from Israel, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the death of "Abu Obeida," the spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. This announcement follows conflicting reports regarding his fate after he was targeted in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City. The Israeli confirmation ends the speculation surrounding his status.
As the Israeli air and ground bombardment of Gaza continues, a flotilla carrying humanitarian aid set sail from Barcelona, Spain, in an attempt to "break the illegal siege" imposed by Israel on the Strip.
