Tumbler Ridge Tragedy: 10 Dead in Rare School Shooting and Related Slaying in Northern B.C.

A devastating shooting spree in the small town of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, has left 10 people dead, including the suspect. According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the gunman opened fire at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, killing seven others before taking his own life. During the investigation, officers discovered two additional victims at a nearby residence linked to the shooter. More than 25 individuals were injured, with two in critical condition.

The quiet community of 2,400 was placed under a temporary lockdown as additional police resources were deployed from surrounding areas.
