The UAE emphasized that its mission was achieved at a high cost, including the lives of its soldiers and facing direct Houthi attacks on UAE soil. Alongside military efforts, the UAE provided over $8 billion in humanitarian and developmental aid. Ambassador Abushahab urged the Council to stop merely "managing" the conflict and instead double down on efforts to resolve it, ensuring long-term security and sovereignty for Yemen.
