Journalist Mahmoud Saad, a close friend of the artist, shared the latest developments regarding her health after his most recent contact with her. He alarmed the public by revealing that Angham is suffering from severe pain following her recent pancreatic surgery. Saad requested prayers from the public, stating in a post on his official Facebook page: "I check on Angham every day, either with her or with her son Omar. She is still unwell and in severe pain. She will remain in the hospital until the end of the week, God willing, so please pray for her to get through this severe health crisis."

This new development, which includes painful complications after the surgery, has extended her hospital stay. Angham was originally expected to be discharged days ago. Saad had previously mentioned that she was preparing to leave the hospital and return to Egypt before these worrying complications arose.

Angham's Son Asks for Prayers for His Mother

Following his initial post, Mahmoud Saad shared a video on his Facebook page discussing Angham's condition after their latest conversation. He appeared visibly concerned, describing her state as "severe and difficult." Saad also revealed that Angham's family is with her in Germany and that they are all praying for her and asking the public to do the same. He stated that Angham is experiencing "severe and intense problems, pain, and fatigue," adding, "The situation is difficult, but God willing, there is nothing dangerous."

Saad confirmed that Angham will remain in the hospital until the end of the week, pending further developments in her health. Fans and celebrities alike have been sharing prayers and messages of support on social media. Among them, artist Carole Samaha posted an emotional message on X (formerly Twitter): "Angham, my friend and great artist, I know how strong you are and how big your heart is, just like the art you give. I wish you a speedy recovery from the bottom of my heart, and you will return stronger than ever. My love for you is immense." Composer Mahmoud El Khayami also tweeted: "May God reassure us about the precious Angham of Egypt. I ask Almighty God, Lord of the Great Throne, to heal her and us and every sick and afflicted person with a healing that leaves no illness behind."

Details of the Surgical Procedure

Mahmoud Saad had previously provided details about Angham's health, explaining that she was advised to travel to Germany to a specialized pancreatic hospital. There, she underwent an endoscopy that revealed a large cyst on her pancreas, which required surgical removal. Saad confirmed that doctors successfully removed a large part of the cyst, and tests showed it was benign.

In an earlier post, Saad had stated that Angham was doing well, eating, and moving around, and was expected to be discharged soon. He mentioned that the small remaining part of the cyst would be monitored after her return to Egypt. However, the recent complications have delayed her discharge, causing concern among her fans.
