Israeli authorities confirmed on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, that at least 25 people were injured following a massive Iranian missile barrage targeting central Israel. According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the initial wave caused 14 injuries, with the toll rising as shrapnel from interceptions fell over residential areas in Tel Aviv and surrounding districts.

Powerful explosions rocked the skies of the Gush Dan region as the IDF’s air defense systems attempted to intercept the incoming threats. While some missiles landed in open areas, the military reported significant structural damage in central cities. This latest escalation marks one of the most intense direct missile confrontations between Tehran and Israel to date.
